Associate Divisional Manager - Vehicle ECU IT System

Tasks

Heading the dynamic team (Skill set: Vehicle ECU, Internals & Externals) who is responsible for Production & After-Sales Vehicle ECU IT Systems

• Overall responsibility for delivery of implementation and operations
• Functioning as a team manager or supervisor to analyze client’s business and technical requirements for successful implementation and operations setup
• Developing and maintaining client relationships and collaborative team environments with internal colleagues and client business/IT staff
• Designing processes and steering the team to capture business requirements, system design, recommendations, and prototyping, including potential solution options
• Completing project and operations planning and scoping activities to ensure successful implementation, including projecting costs, deliverables, resource planning, utilization, charge management, and user support based on scope
• Reporting the project and operations status at defined intervals to relevant stakeholders
• Ensuring that project and operations KPIs, SLAs, and audit requirements are met
• Building a strong structure for project governance to provide specific project-related information to targeted stakeholders
• Evaluating project risks on a continuous basis and deploying risk mitigation strategies to control project progress
• Handling multiple projects and continuously prioritizing them with the high-level benefit of the central program

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate degree with at least 10 years of experience in IT Systems across Greenfield and Brownfield implementations covering all phases of a project
• Experience with at least one programming language, database migration, and database management
• Possession of at least one valid project management certification like PMP or PRINCE II Practitioner level. Certification in Agile, ITIL framework, etc., is desirable
• Use of various effort estimation techniques, pricing strategies, and management of project finances
• Extensive experience across multiple Vehicle ECU core working knowledge on business processes and functional areas
• Familiarity with transition management from project teams to application maintenance teams and project closure
• Working knowledge of project management tools like MS Project, MS Office applications, etc.
• Experience as a lead in discussions with stakeholders to specify new requirements and discuss potential application solutions following business and IT strategies
• Experience in handling Automobile, OEMs, and Manufacturing customers across the globe
• Familiarity with IT landscape, solution architecture, and cloud-based solutions
