SAP Basis Solution Architect

Job Description:

SAP Basis Architect to manage and maintain SAP landscapes, including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Solution Manager, FRUN, PO, BTP, and other SAP components.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 13+ years of experience in SAP Basis Administration with hands-on experience in migrations, system builds, configurations, and operations of mission-critical SAP systems.

SAP System Expertise: Strong experience in SAP NetWeaver, S/4HANA, ECC, BW, Solution Manager, FRUN, PO, BTP, and SAP Cloud Platform and infrastructure/platform area.

Redwood CPS / RMJ Knowledge: Experience in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Redwood job scheduling environments.

Performance Tuning: Experience in SAP performance tuning, workload balancing, and troubleshooting system slowdowns.

Security and Compliance: Knowledge of SAP security concepts, audit logs, and compliance standards (e.g., SOX, GDPR).

SAP Infrastructure Management: Oversee SAP system architecture, servers, cloud environments, and hybrid deployments.

Infrastructure Connectivity and Integrations:

Manage and troubleshoot SAP system connectivity across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.

Ensure seamless integration with external systems such as third-party applications, middleware, and APIs.

Optimize network configurations, VPNs, firewalls, and SAP routers for secure and stable connectivity.

Upgrades and Migrations: Plan and execute SAP system upgrades, patching, and OS/DB migrations with minimal downtime.

Database Understanding: Basic knowledge of SAP HANA and Oracle for SAP system administration.

Cloud and Hybrid: Experience with SAP HANA on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or SAP BTP is a plus.

Documentation and Best Practices: Maintain up-to-date system architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Proactive approach to work, issue resolution, and communication.

Qualifications

That’s Why You Are a Match

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.

Experience in SAP Basis Administration.

Knowledge of RISE, BTP, and cloud solutions.

Fluent in English and strong in teamwork, motivation, and communication skills.
