Inside the Role

This position is responsible for effectively optimizing pricing over the life cycle of aftermarket parts in order to maximize revenue and margin, and support overall product, dealer and customer objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience in analyzing large amounts of data to assess current trends, propose pricing strategies and model financial impacts. Examples of projects include market research, modeling pricing elasticity, testing new pricing strategies, and modeling revenue and profit impacts, while aligning with cross-functional departments like Purchasing, Sales and Marketing.

Position offers a starting salary range of $95,000 to $121,000 USD. Pay offered is dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience.

What You Drive at DTNA

Responsibilities include: - Conduct market research to accurately assess the market price position and trends. - Analyze product profitability including cost to serve, pocket margin, volume-based price discount structures, and profitability thresholds. - Propose pricing recommendations using data analysis and market research, and develop financial models to quantify financial impacts. - Prepare and present key findings to internal stakeholders. - Manage and administer assigned parts segments within the pricing tool to execute pricing recommendations. - Ensure timely and accurate development and maintenance of DTNA’s Aftermarket Price Book. - Work cross-functionally with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure inputs are accurately incorporated in the pricing strategy. - Resolve pricing issues, discrepancies, and questions. - Continuously identify areas for improvement in pricing processes, policies, procedures, systems, and training.

Knowledge You Should Bring

Requirements include: - BS/BA and prefer 5-7 years of relevant experience or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree. - Ability to perform quantitative analysis using large datasets. - Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot, v-lookup, if-statement). - Ability to deliver results with minimal supervision. - Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and ability to present recommendations. - Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally with other teams.

Exceptional Candidates Might Have

Additional qualifications: - SQL/SAS/STATA/programming experience. - Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
