We digitize everywhere possible – you will champion intelligent automation to eliminate manual workstreams and surface real-time insights in core captive finance operations. The Senior AI Engineer in an AI Focused role, responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI solutions, including Generative and Agentic AI Agents, to support key business functions. This position emphasizes hands-on technical leadership in AI and machine learning, ensuring scalable and secure implementations. The role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams and business experts to drive AI adoption and innovation, while maintaining alignment with organizational priorities and compliance standards.

What You Drive

• Lead the development and deployment of AI-driven solutions, with a strong emphasis on Generative and Agentic AI technologies

• Identify innovation opportunities and apply automation solutions using AI platforms and technologies

• Building and deploying scalable automation solutions using AI/ML platforms, Java, TypeScript, Python, APIs

• Collaborate with Data Science, IT, and business teams to implement scalable AI solutions

• Collaborate with data engineers to build robust ingestion layers and ensure high-quality data inputs for intelligent automation

• Support enterprise AI initiatives under the guidance of senior leadership, focusing on operationalization and adoption

• Participate in automation and process improvement initiatives leveraging AI technologies

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI systems, including generative AI, into products and services

• Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory standards in all AI implementations

• Monitor and optimize AI model performance; develop dashboards and reporting tools for stakeholders

Knowledge You Should Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, IT or analytics and prefer 5-7 years of relevant experience or 8 years of relevant experience in Information Technology

• Proficiency in programming languages and tools for AI development and integration

• Experience collaborating with IT and software engineering teams to ensure AI/ML solutions align with existing infrastructure

• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, and C++

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; able to translate business problems into AI-driven solutions

• Ability to design and implement API-driven solutions for seamless integration with enterprise systems

• Ability to identify and understand business issues and map these issues into quantitative questions

• Effective communication and presentation skills; able to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical audiences

• Ability to identify and understand business issues and map these issues into quantitative questions

• Analytical skills: Ability to collect data and establish facts, identify trends and variances; ability to integrate information from a variety of sources with varied levels of complexity

• Attention to detail, customer focus, planning and organizing, problem solving and analysis, teamwork and collaboration

Exceptional Candidates Might Have

• Experience working with building applications using Large Language Models and Cloud Native Platforms (eg. Microsoft Fabric, Palantir, Snowflake)

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, and best practices for secure and scalable API design

• Hands-on experience with machine learning and AI platforms (Python, R, SAS) and modern AI frameworks

• Knowledge of advanced statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and machine learning algorithms

• 5+ years leading through mentorship in related field

• 5+ years leading projects and initiatives through influence preferred

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, mathematics, statistics, or a related field
