About the Role

Are you ready to make a difference in the commercial vehicle sector? Daimler Truck UK Ltd is seeking a highly capable Sales Operations Manager to deliver comprehensive support to our national field sales operations. You will play a pivotal role in administering our dealer bonus model, leading sales campaigns, tracking discounts, and ensuring seamless communications internally and externally. This is your chance to uphold and enhance dealer network standards, supporting our ongoing commitment to excellence.

More about the role:

  • Dealer Bonus Model: Manage and implement the annual Sales Bonus Model, acting as the UK’s primary point of contact for target-setting, payments, and performance dashboards.

  • Campaign Management: Take ownership of managing truck campaigns and reward programmes, from planning and approvals to execution and evaluation. Prepare board papers, handle compliance documentation, and jointly manage budgets.

  • Discount Planning & Analysis: Collaborate closely with Finance & Controlling teams to track and communicate discount variances, ensuring financial discipline and supporting business objectives alongside the Head of Retail and Fleet Sales.

  • Sales Team Support: Provide daily operational support to field sales teams.

  • Dealer Franchise Standards & Reporting: Ensure compliance with franchise standards and contractual requirements, maintain dashboard reporting via Power BI, and drive continuous improvement across the dealer network.

  • Dealer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with dealer partners, supporting reviews, ensuring data accuracy, and delivering benchmark sales administration internally and externally at Daimler Truck UK.

  • Ethical Compliance: Uphold high ethical standards, complying with Daimler AG Policies, Anti-Bribery regulations, competition law, and data protection requirements.

Qualifications

About you:

  • Industry knowledge of commercial vehicles and manufacturer-distributor relationships (highly desirable).

  • Advanced computer literacy, including mandatory proficiency in Excel.

  • Integrity in data handling and compliance with Data Protection regulations.

  • Proven expertise in data analytics, numerical analysis, and strategic interpretation.

  • Ability to manage complex queries, technical issues, and deliver premium customer service.

  • Experience in planning, implementing, and reporting on manufacturer-level marketing campaigns (advantageous).

  • Competence in financial accounting and reporting.

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, for effective stakeholder engagement.

  • A full, clean driving licence is required, as occasional field visits UK wide may be necessary.
